About SacCountyGOP Meetings
The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members, Alternates, and Associates with 25 open seats for invited guests. The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members), or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.
No recording devices are allowed during the meeting, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!
The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December, unless there is a special need.
Registered Republicans in Sacramento County who sign up in advance may attend to observe the meeting. Registration is now available at this link. After we verify your Republican registration, you will be provided with more details.
This is the last meeting before ballots are mailed, so the agenda will be all about voter turnout and candidate support. The Committee will also vote on an amendment to our Bylaws to clarify the role of our Treasurer. Endorsed candidates will have time to make announcements about volunteer and donor opportunities.
What Happened at the August Meeting?
Candidates for local offices and ballot measures addressed the Committee seeking endorsement. Due to the high number of candidates and measures, the Committee was unable to consider all requests and will reconvene virtually on August 29th to complete the agenda. This will be a closed meeting.
Nick Bloise reported on behalf of the Finance Review Committee that met to review the financial and organizational status of the SacCountyGOP. Committee Members included:

District 4 – Aaron Silva
District 5 – Carol Fogle
Chair Mahan thanked the volunteers at the State Fair Republican booth and reported that it was a great success. She also announced the next fundraising event will be on October 2nd featuring former Controller candidate Lanhee Chen.
