October 2024 Central Committee Meeting

October 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

About SacCountyGOP Meetings

The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members, Alternates, and Associates with 25 open seats for invited guests. The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members), or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.
No recording devices are allowed during the meeting, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!

The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December, unless there is a special need.

Registered Republicans in Sacramento County who signed up in advance may attend to observe the meeting. The link to sign up will be available two weeks in advance of the meeting.

At the time of the October 16 meeting, ballots will have been mailed, so we will provide updates on voter outreach, ballot collection, and election observing programs. Candidates may attend to provide an update on their campaign.

What Happened at the September Meeting?

The Central Committee unanimously passed a revision to the Bylaws that clarifies some of the functions of the Treasurer and the Executive Committee.

Barbara Sloan reported on very successful community events in Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks. Many thanks to the volunteers who greeted voters at our booths! The next one will be at the Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival Oct. 5-6.

Chair Mahan reported on two upcoming SacGOP-hosted events, including the Fireside Chat with Lanhee Chen and Senator Roger Niello on Oct. 2, and the Candidate Open House and Ballot Collection on Oct. 12 at SacGOP Headquarters.

Committee Members met in their respective Supervisor Districts to plan neighborhood walks as soon as ballots are mailed. They will be distributing Voter Guides that include all the candidates running in the areas of each Assembly District. Click on the icons below to view the Voter Guides:
