About SacCountyGOP Meetings
The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members, Alternates, and Associates with 25 open seats for invited guests. The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members), or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.
No recording devices are allowed during the meeting, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!
The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December.
The meeting is now closed to additional guests as 25 registered Republicans in Sacramento County who signed up in advance have been informed they will be admitted to observe the Central Committee Meeting.
The February agenda will include a discussion on education issues and the work of our School Districts Committee as well as plans for participation in community events in 2023. We will be pleased to welcome 2022 Candidate for Supt. of Public Instruction Lance Christensen, as well as School Board Members Jen Laret and David Reid (Folsom Cordova) and Craig DeLuz (Robla) for the education discussion.
The CAGOP will hold their Organizing Convention in Sacramento March 10-12. Delegates from the Central Valley will meet on Saturday morning of the Convention to elect a new Vice Chair for the Central Valley Region that runs from Sacramento to Kern County. We will hear from candidates who are running for that position, including former Vice Chair Lisa Moreno, and Robla School Board Member Craig DeLuz.
