About SacCountyGOP Meetings
The newly elected Sacramento County Republican Central Committee will hold their Organizing Meeting on Thursday, January 23rd. Regular meeting dates going forward will be determined at this meeting. This meeting begins at 6:30pm.
Registered Republicans in Sacramento County who sign up in advance may attend to observe the meeting. A sign-up link will be posted on this page in early January.
The Organizing Meeting Agenda is outlined in our Bylaws and will include swearing in Regular Members and their Alternates, as well as the Alternates of Ex-Officio’s. Regular Members must be in attendance to receive the Oath of Office in order to vote at this meeting. The Agenda will also include the election of officers, approval of Bylaws, and filling vacancies that exist in Districts 1, 4 and the Ex-Officio seat in Senate District 8.
What Happened at the November Meeting?
Treasurer Christian Forte provided financials, showing our Committee is in good standing with close to $60,000 (including Leadership Funds) in assets as of November 1. The Federal Account, where most expenses are funded, stands at $18,117.
Chair Mahan announced an upcoming Discussion Session for current and recently elected Republican school board members, featuring Assemblyman Josh Hoover. She also highlighted our webpage that includes details about securing tickets to the Trump-Vance Inaugural events in Washington D.C. on January 20th. Mahan announced that the Organizing Meeting will take place in January and the date will be announced by the Executive Committee in December, per our Bylaws.
The SacGOP headquarters team collected close to 800 ballots during the election, and the voter outreach program was explained. The website had 21,375 pageviews as voters looked for guidance prior to submitting their ballots.
The SacCountyGOP Election Night Watch Party was held at the Brookside Restaurant as we celebrated the victory of Trump/Vance, Assemblymen Hoover and Flora, Congressman Kiley, and dozens of local Republican candidates.
Election results were announced and Nina Caron reported on her successful Election Integrity program.
The Holiday Charity will be Move America Forward as volunteers may come on December 20th to pack boxes of Christmas goodies for deployed troops.
