November 2024 Central Committee Meeting

November 20 @ 6:30 pm

About SacCountyGOP Meetings

The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members, Alternates, and Associates with 25 open seats for invited guests. The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members), or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.
No recording devices are allowed during the meeting, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!

The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December, unless there is a special need.

Guests and Committee Members are welcome to come early (6pm) when we will kick off the celebration with some sparkling cider (we meet at a gun club…so no adult beverages allowed).

Registered Republicans in Sacramento County who sign up in advance may attend to observe the meeting. Use this link to register.

The November Agenda will be a celebration of the victorious November election with all candidates invited to attend. We will also discuss plans for our Holiday Charity project. This will be the last meeting for the current Central Committee.

What Happened at the October Meeting?

The Committee received a briefing on all GOTV activities including phone banks, walks, emails, texts, newspaper ads, printed and mailed Voter Guides, and use of digital methods.

Chair Mahan reported on the successful reception with Lanhee Chen and the October 12 Open House where voters were able to drop off their ballots and meet the candidates. Mahan also announced the SacGOP is holding an Election Night Party at Brookside Restaurant (near headquarters) and everyone is welcome.

Nina Caron reported on her Election Observer program having trained over 100 volunteers to watch Vote Centers and the closing of Drop Boxes on Election Night.

Christian Forte asked all District Precinct leaders to report on walks held, with District 5 taking the lead in houses walked.

Barbara Sloan reported on successful community events held in Fair Oaks, Elk Grove and Citrus Heights. Many thanks to the volunteers who ran our information booths and handed out Voter Guides.

Endorsed candidates were given the opportunity to report on their campaigns and Clubs announced upcoming events. Upcoming candidate events are listed on Upcoming Events page.
