CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITAL MUSEUM
1315 10th Street, Open 9am until 5pm Monday-Friday (closed weekends)
Tour registration at the Info desk in the Rotunda. Tour every hour starting at 10am, last one at 4pm.
CAPITOL PARK TOUR is available Sundays at 1:00PM at 13th Street and Capitol Avenue.
Renovations for the Capitol have begun but have been controversial. The lead legislator for this project, Assemblyman Ken Cooley, was defeated by our Josh Hoover (R-Folsom) and that could give opponents of the project some hope. Learn more.

SUTTER’S FORT – Sutter’s Fort SHP (ca.gov) The park is located in midtown Sacramento in the block bound by K, L, 26th, and 28th Streets. You can enter the Fort by the East Gate facing 28th Street. There is no on-site parking. Street parking is available metered by the City of Sacramento. Open Monday – Sunday 10am-5pm
